Boyd's Sticky Sweet Heat BBQ Ribs

Ingredients

  • 1 rack baby back ribs
  • 2 tablespoons Boyd's Sweet Heat

Seasoning

  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons apple juice   

     

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 300°F.
    2. Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs.
    3. Coat both sides generously with Boyd's Sweet Heat Seasoning.
    4. Place ribs on foil, add apple juice, and wrap tightly.
    5. Bake for 2½-3 hours, until tender.
    6. Mix BBQ sauce, brown sugar, honey, vinegar, and garlic powder.
    7. Brush the ribs with sauce, then grill or broil for 3-5 minutes until sticky and caramelized.
    8. Rest for 10 minutes, slice, and serve!

    Cook until tender and at least 145°F

     

    internally, though ribs are usually best around 195-203°F.
